The family run Choromar complex is perfect location for those who want to be just a short walk from the lively Montechoro area of Albufeira but don't want to be right on top of it. You can stroll to the restaurants, clubs and activities of Strip in leisure 15 minutes- and if you keep on strolling you'll soon reach the beach at Oura - about a half hour walk from the apartments.But don't worry if you don't like walking and don't want to drive - because the Choromar owners even lay on a courtesy bus 4 times a day in season (not on Sundays and public holidays) to the beach or old town of Albufeira. Local bus stop just outside of hotel.The complex was built in 1989 and renovated in 1997. It consists of a 4-storey main building and two 4-storey annex buildings, a 3-storey and two 2-storey annex buildings.You can enjoy all the facilities of 4 swimming pools (2 for all guests use, 2 privates for use by guests staying in 2 annex buildings) with terraces, 1 outdoor pool heated all year...bar with satellite TV (Sky Sports etc.), live music, karaoke, bingo and quiz.Also offering:- Breakfasts, snacks and pizzas served in the bar- Mini-market- Video games, snooker- Laundry service- Gym- Internet service- Fax/photocopies- Money ExchangeWhy not end the perfect day after sunbathing by relaxing in a Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and sauna? Hotel Da Galé** is a small beach hotel, located in Cerro da Piedade, at the town center a few minutes' walk from the historical Moorish castle, and just 100m of the new Albufeira marina. Its prime location allows our clients to be about 50m from the main beach of Albufeira. (Peneco's Beach).Its style is very light and maritime decoration, it has 60 double and triple rooms, with or without balcony, some have a beautiful sea view. This hotel has internet only on the social areas.All rooms have their own private bathroom with bathtub, telephone, safety box and cable TV. On the top floor we have the Navy Bar with its panoramic view, we can dare to say, the best sea view in the entire Algarve, with background music to relax after you come from the beach or before you go for dinner in town.The breakfast room is also on the top floor where you can choose between having the breakfast indoors or at our marvelous terraces facing the sea and the Algarve coastline, looking at the sailing boats crossing the ocean.Facilities: Our swimming pool is located on one of the terraces, alongside a natural solarium with sun lounges.Peneco Beach is less than 150 metres away, and the hotel is just 100 metres from the new Albufeira Marina.
