Celorico de Basto is a municipality in Portugal, in Braga district, in the Minho. At the 2021 census it had 17,666 inhabitants over an area of 181.1 km².
With about 98 inhabitants per km², it combines a medium-sized town with villages and farmland. Of the 14 municipalities in Braga district, it is number 11 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 35 km south-east of Braga, the capital. The nearest major city is Porto, about 55 km away.
