Mangualde is a municipality in Portugal, in Viseu district, in the Beiras, in central Portugal. At the 2021 census it had 18,294 inhabitants over an area of 219.3 km².
With about 83 inhabitants per km², it combines a medium-sized town with villages and farmland. Of the 24 municipalities in Viseu district, it is number 4 by population.
As the crow flies it lies about 17 km south-east of Viseu, the capital. The nearest major city is Coimbra, about 70 km away.
